Mission Statement
"The Universal Association of Healers (UAH) is a non-profit making organisation which seeks to promote healing for all.
Our members are our only asset, and as such, need to be nurtured and respected. We encourage the incorporation of spirituality into daily life and continuous personal development.
With these thoughts in mind, we aim to offer high standards of training as well as affordable yearly meetings where like minds can share knowledge through discussion, workshops and talks, encouraging continuing professional development.
We also welcome member's ideas and opinions, including constructive criticism, as well as offers of help with the running of the organisation."

The UAH has grown steadily since its inception in 2005, having membership in many parts of the country including Jersey, the Isle of Man and Spain, as well as many other parts of the UK.
The UAH is a member of the British Alliance of Healing Associations (BAHA) and is also a constituent member of the UK Healers Policy Group. The Policy Group is responsible for the development of standards of healing together with the protection of the public. The UAH was one of the first healing organisations to gain accreditation at Level 4 out of the 40 plus organisations registered with UK Healers, because of its high standard of documentation, training procedures and training manual.
We place considerable emphasis on the level of training for our healers during their two-year course and a high level of integrity both for the organization and its members, as well as the protection and care of the public during our work with them. We also seek to help our healers by encouraging them to keep in contact so that they can share ideas and information to support one another. The UAH is a healing organization in which members are encouraged to help us evolve as a group in response to the changing needs of society.
The UAH is open to all spiritual healers and those wishing to learn the art of healing. We also welcome spiritual healers who practice other therapies as it is our belief that all healers should widen their expertise and knowledge on a continuous basis.

The Healing Mechanism
Healers believe that everyone has a healing mechanism that flows as an energy force around the body, mind and spirit to keep them in perfect order. Unfortunately, stress, an inadequate diet, a negative attitude and other adverse factors can block our healing mechanism so that it cannot function correctly and we become ill. Spiritual healing provides the energy needed to kick start our own healing mechanism back into action. When a healer lays his hand on you, he acts as a conductor or channel for the healing energy which he believes has the "intelligence" to go where it is needed.
Healers say that all of us have the power to heal, if we choose to develop it. However, some do seem to have a healing gift.
Healing does not always work at a physical level; the illness may remain but the ability to cope with it improves.
Healing is not just about living well, but also dying well. People healed when they are dying often die more peacefully.
Typically, to begin the treatment the healer will attune with the healing energy. Then he may scan your body, with his hands hovering just above you. This scanning is to take a reading of your body's energy levels and to locate areas of low or blocked energy where healing is needed. How long the healer spends on each area is determined by your body's needs.
During the treatment you may feel heat coming from the healer's hands, although some people feel a draught, a tingling sensation, pins and needles, or a feeling of light-headedness. Afterwards, most people say they feel relaxed and peaceful, although you might feel thirsty or sleepy. Leave a few days or a week between sessions to give the healing time to work.

Absent Healing
All healing comes from the one Universal Source. It is available to everyone, everywhere in the world and can be helpful in bringing relief from the many physical, emotional or mental conditions we experience throughout our lives.
Absent healing, otherwise known as distant healing, is the healing process of sending thoughts and healing to a person without the need for the healer to be physically in their presence.
Absent healing begins as soon as you make the decision to contact us and request healing, be it for yourself or for others.
What we do ask of you is that you make yourself open for the healing to take place for it can come to you quite often in unexpected ways. Sometimes you will experience a sudden improvement to your problem or maybe an idea will come into your mind which shows you some practical steps you can take to help in your own recovery.
Experience shows that healing will always take place on some level, either physically, mentally or spiritually if we prepare ourselves to become aware of it.
Anyone may request healing by simply clicking on the 'healing' link below and giving a few relevant details such as:
* The name of the person in need of healing.
* The town or country in which they are located.
* Their condition and whether it is emotional, mental or physical.
* How long they have had the condition for.
We will then forward your request (excluding your email address) to our healers for them to give absent healing to that person and advise you immediately when this has taken place.
Please send us your absent healing request now.
This service is entirely free of charge. However, some people have expressed a desire to send a donation by way of thank you for benefits received and these are very gratefully accepted as this helps our organisation to continually improve the facilities we offer. If you would like to send a donation direct to us, no matter how small, then please email for an address. Thank you.
Please note: This service is not intended to replace professional medical treatment. If you require medical attention do please seek help from your local GP.
